About me!!! No time wasting in reading about me and to be simple & straight – I have invested almost half my life in education (to be precise 27 yrs) - did my Honours in commerce, MBA and finally became a Chartered Accountant. In a way, I should say I was very lucky to have an extended college life and owe that to my parents! And now, though I work for some MNC I prefer claiming myself to be working for self, as in my own company. To know more visit – www.novateonline.com Travelling, eating out and cooking are few of my many hobbies which I can think off now . I like being busy all the time be it with my work or with my hobbies and my work makes me spend very little a time with my hobbies. But now I have made it a point to take time out for myself and enjoy life - not that I don’t enjoy my work!!! You can reach me at vanga.srinivas@gmail.com

My Blog!!! - Vangas-Kitchen!!!

Hi readers and fellow bloggers! It’s been long since I wanted to start this blog on penning my experience's or I can call it as experiments in the kitchen & tasting food all over - right from road side "bandies" (a.k.a. street food) to beautiful lounge’s serving food in the most presentable way as possible. Being a diehard foodie I make the most of my free time spending in the kitchen experimenting with ingredients and making my family & friends taste the best possible homemade food.

The time when I identified that my parents were not that comfortable (or I should say not open to experiment ) eating out, that’s when I realized that I should get that everything inside my kitchen just to make them taste the best food which they were missing. Each time I visit a restaurant or an eating joint and taste something different and really good that’s when I realise that Iam eating alone although I am with my friends most of the time. And this thought make makes me go back home and remake the recipes “my style” and then open it to my family and friends.

My inspiration for cooking is a big list – starting from my ‘mummy’, my ammama (grandmom), live counters in restaurants, chat walas on bandis, road side fast food centres, bartenders and the list goes on & on!!! One thing I truly believe about cooking is that the main ingredient for a perfect dish is the 'passion for cooking' and my culinary skills are based on my passion for cooking 

I don’t really intend to follow a fixed template in writing this blog. I will write whatever I feel that’s just to enter into this blog and over a period depending on the posts and requests I would classify the posts!

Happy reading ! Happy cooking and Happy eating!
